• As of April 2019, York Laurent will not be charging any administration fees for moving into a new property.
• As a prerequisite to take a property off the market, an initial £150 Holding Fee will be charged that is taken off the first month’s rent.

HANDOVER OF A PROPERTY

When the Applicant has been successfully vetted and referenced prior to the handover/ commencement date of the tenancy, we will require one calendar months’ rent in advance plus a deposit equal to 6 weeks’ rent, please note student applicants, Landlords will require a minimum of one month’s rent in advance plus a deposit equal to a minimum of 8 weeks’ rent.

INVENTORY CHECK OUT FEE

Properties that are Let and Managed by York Laurent throughout the term of a Tenancy, will require an end of Tenancy Inventory Check Out undertaken by an independent inventory companies either Verismart (www.verismartinventories.co.uk) or Smerdons (www.smerdoninventories.co.uk), an advance fee to cover the checkout will be payable by the applicant prior to the commencement of the tenancy. This cost is £118.00 (inclusive of VAT).
